Michael Hagelgans
Michael joined the Centurion Group in 2008 and holds the position of Vice President. He has been in banking and financial services since 1986 and has worked with retirement plans since 1998.
For the seven years prior to joining Centurion Mike worked in the investment management and brokerage division of the largest Bank based in New Jersey. He was responsible for the development of Retirement and Institutional Asset Management accounts in Southern and Central New Jersey. Because of his extensive experience with retirement plans and investment management he was designated as the relationship manager on the largest, most high profile retirement accounts of the institution, including those with a national presence.
Mike has worked with clients in many industries including Engineering, Healthcare, Not for Profit, Manufacturing, Gaming and Hospitality and understands the distinct needs of each. He specializes in plan design, developing and implementing customized employee education programs and helping plan fiduciaries meet their responsibility by providing extensive independent vendor and investment manager evaluations, risk adjusted performance measurement, and plan benchmarking with an emphasis on full fee transparency and disclosure.
Michael earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Accounting at Gettysburg College and is a graduate of the Stonier School of Banking and the Cannon Financial Institute Retirement Plan Services Graduate School. He is a Registered Investment Advisor and holds his series 7, 65 and 66 licenses and is life and health licensed.
